Gift Book Program

The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library offers a unique and special way to honor and remember the special people in your life:

• Celebrate a birthday, graduation, anniversary or other special occasion
• Remember a loved one or friend
• Recognize a person’s contribution
• Show appreciation and say thank you

The Library’s Gift Book Program invites individuals or groups to donate the cost of one or more new books in honor or memory of a special person(s), event or memorial.  The specific type of book (Children’s, Adult Fiction, Adult Non Fiction, Large Print and Young Adult) may be suggested with the donation.

With a $25 donation, an individualized book plate will be placed inside one (1) item chosen by the Library. 

Donations are tax-deductible.  Special book plates will be placed in each Gift Book naming the honoree(s) and donor(s).  All gifts will be acknowledged and notification will be sent to those being honored.
